ScrapGali is operated by Mohd Saqib. This policy applies to dealers and prospective dealers using the ScrapGali dealer website, registration flow, login, app dashboard, lead features, payment flows, and support channels.
Information we collect
We may collect dealer phone number, owner name, shop name, profile photo, vehicle type, dealer type, language, service areas, scrap categories handled, registration status, app activity, unlocked lead history, payment orders, subscription details, wallet/payment history, notification preferences, and support messages.
For phone verification, Firebase Phone Authentication may process phone numbers and verification metadata. For payments, payment gateway partners may process payment details according to their own policies.
How we use dealer information
We use information to create and review dealer accounts, verify phone numbers, show relevant leads, manage reservations and unlocks, process payments, provide subscriptions, prevent misuse, send notifications, improve service quality, handle complaints, and comply with applicable law.
Seller information shown to dealers
When a dealer unlocks or accesses a lead, the platform may show seller name, phone number, address, photos, notes, categories, quantity estimates, locality, and pickup context. Dealers must use this information only for that specific pickup and must not share or misuse it.
Sharing with service providers
We may share limited information with service providers for hosting, analytics, maps/geocoding, phone authentication, payment processing, notifications, fraud prevention, customer support, and operational tooling.
We do not sell dealer personal data. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, fraud prevention, platform safety, or dispute resolution.
Data retention and security
We keep data as long as needed for account operation, payment records, dispute handling, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and business records. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Dealers can update profile details where the app allows it. You can request account/data deletion or correction by contacting us. Some data may be retained when required for payments, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute records.
